How to sync between the iPhone and Mac versions of myHomework?
Right now there is no direct way of syncing the two applications. However there is a easy workaround.
Please see below.
Syncing from iPhone to Mac:
1-From the iPhone transfer all your myHomework data to the server. See "How to transfer all of my myHomework data?" for details.
2-Reset all the data from the Mac version of myHomework. See "How to reset myHomework?" for details.
3-Download the previous transfered data to the Mac version of myHomework. See "How to download all of my myHomework data?" for details.
Syncing from Mac to iPhone:
1-From the Mac transfer all your myHomework data to the server. See "How to transfer all of my myHomework data?" for details.
2-Reset all the data from the iPhone version of myHomework. See "How to reset myHomework?" for details.

How to add a new Homework or Assignment?
You can enter a homework by touching the
Add + button on the top right corner of the Homework List page.
Once there please enter the following:
Title: The title of your assignment.
Class: The class which your assignment is under.
Type: What type of assignment it is.
Due Date: When is your assignment is due.
Notes: Notes about your assignment.
Please note that you have to enter your classes first before selecting them under the Class field.
Once you are done just touch the confirm button.

How to add a new Class?
You can enter a homework by touching the
Add + button on the top right corner of the Classes page.
Once there please enter the following:
Title: The title of your assignment.
Course #: The course number of your class.
Building: The building where you have class.
Room: The room number where you have class.
Professor: The name of your teacher.
Schedule: Enter schedule by touching on the 'time' icon.
Once there please enter the following:
Days: The days of the week you have the class.
Start Time: The time your class start.
End Time: The time your class end.
You can enter a schedule by touching the
Add Time button. Once you are done entering your schedule just touch the
Done button.
Once you finish entering all your class information just touch the confirm button.

How to edit a Homework or Class?
In order to edit a homework or class, touch on top of an entry. This will allow you to view all the information about that
entry, then touch on the edit button. Once you are done making all your changes, touch on the confirm button.

How to delete a Homework or Class?
There are two ways to delete a homework or class:
1- If you swipe your finger left to right (or right to left) on top of a entry, the delete button will appear.
You can use that button to delete that homework or class entry.

2- You can also delete a homework or class by touching on the trash icon under the edit view of a homework.

How to mark a Homework as completed?
You can mark a homework as completed by touching on the Completed button while viewing an assignment.

How to transfer a Homework or Class?
In order to transfer a homework or class you first have to view that entry and touch on the mail icon. After touching the mail
icon you have two options either "Send this homework to server" or "Send copy via email". The first option is the one you need in order to transfer
a homework or class.
You will also need to enter a Security Code that you or your friends will use when downloading that entry. Once you are done just touch the send button
and your data will be available for 24 hours. You will also receive and ID that you will need when downloading the entry.
How to transfer all of my myHomework data?
In order to transfer all of your myHomework data first touch on "Transfer myHomework" under the Settings page. You will also need to enter a
Security Code that you or your friends will use when downloading that entry. Once you are done just touch the send button and your data will be
available for 24 hours.
How to download a Homework or Class?
In order to download a Homework or Class first touch on "Download myHomework Data" under the Settings page and select either
"Download a Homework Entry" or "Download a Class Entry". Then enter the ID and Security Code of that entry and touch Download.
How to download all of my myHomework data?
In order to download your full myHomework data first touch on "Download myHomework Data" under the Settings page and select "Download
Full myHomework Data". Then enter the ID and Security Code of that entry and touch Download.
How to email a copy of a Homework or Class?
In order to transfer a homework or class you first have to view that entry and touch on the mail icon. After touching the mail
icon you have two options either "Send this homework to server" or "Send copy via email". The second option is the one you need in order to transfer
a homework or class. This will gather the information about your entry and attach it to an email message using the Mail app, the only thing you
have to do is add the email address.
How to add or edit my class schedule?
In order to add or edit your class schedule just touch the 'time' icon while editing a class entry.
Once there please enter the following:
Days: The days of the week you have the class.
Start Time: The time your class start.
End Time: The time your class end.
You can enter a schedule by touching the
Add Time button. Once you are done entering your schedule just touch the
Done button.

How will I be notified about a late assignment?
iPhone:
myHomework uses the icon reminder counter in order to notify you about late assignments. This will count all the late and/or next day
upcoming assignment and display that count on myHomework's icon. You can select if you want late or next day upcoming assignments to
be notified by touching "Icon Reminder Counter" under the Settings page.
Mac:
myHomework will notify you about a late or upcoming assignment by placing a warning on the side panel.

How to change my homework list sorting?
You can change how your homework list is sorted by touching "Sort Homework List By" under the Settings page. There you can choose between
sorting your homework list by title, class, type or due date.
How to reset myHomework?
You can reset myHomework by touching "Reset myHomework" under the Settings page. This will delete all your Homework and Class entries.
How to change the date format?
You can change how the date format by touching "Date Format" under the Settings page. There you can choose if your date is displayed by
mm-dd-yyyy or dd-mm-yyyy
or yyyy-mm-dd.
Where:
mm = month
dd = day
yyyy = year
What does "Flick Pages or Scroll Lists" mean?
iPhone only
myHomework allows you to either flick your finger across the screen to change between the different pages or to scroll the homework or class lists.
By touching "Flick Pages or Scroll Lists" you can choose which option is best for you.
